Prohibit funding to the Institute of Peace

On the 19th of June, Rep. Matt Salmon (Arizona, 5th district which includes Gilbert, south and eastern parts of Chandler and eastern Mesa) introduced the bill, “To Prohibit Funding to the Institute of Peace”. Currently, the bill has no co-sponsors and is in both the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Education and the Workforce.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

Prohibition on funding the Institute of Peace

No funds available to the Department of State or any other department or agency may be used to provide contributions directly or indirectly to the Institute of Peace.
