Department of Transportation and HUD appropriations bill

On the 27th of May, Rep. Tom Latham (Iowa, 3rd District which includes Des Moines) introduced and sponsored the Departments of Transportation and Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill. On the 10th of June, the House voted to pass the bill with a record vote of 229-192. On the 12th of June, the appropriations bill was received in the Senate.

There were 68 amendments filed in the House of Representatives, but the Senate has yet to file any amendments.
